Version 1.1 8/27/03 Added ability to shuffle coverages in legend. PLSS files will display hollow. Added footing call to PLSS->UTM calculation, so I now need to change the name of the tabs so that both FC and PLSS values are calculated. Version 1.1.1 8/28/03 Fixed bug in footing call computation from GPS point. Also I have a potential problem in that the footing call compass directions may be flipped (ie, N instead of S). Currently "500N" means 500 feet north of the south section line. Added menu item to go to PLSS Locator home page. Version 1.1.2 8/28/03 Reversed the direction in footing calls. Now "500N" referers to "500 feet from the north line". Version 1.2 9/9/03 Added simple legend editor. Double click on theme legend to invoke. Version 1.4 11/24/03 Added save and load. Improved legend editor. New hotlink functionality for quads (the button looks like a pennant). Theme legend now is scrollable. Version 1.5 11/25/03 Added latitude and longitude to GPS conversion. Fixed bug where opening a project with a PLSS theme would not update the PLSS theme lists. Version 1.6 12/15/03 Added degrees, minutes, seconds to latitude/longitude conversion. Version 1.7 12/29/03 Fixed errors in the new lat-long conversion. Version 1.8 1/28/04 Fixed tab order in tab controls. Version 1.9 3/4/04 Fixed error where townships, ranges, and sections were forced to be integers. Version 1.10 3/10/04 Added meridian field to PLSS->UTM tab. Added measurement tool. Should work as in ArcView -- click to add a segment, double-click to reset. Results show in status bar at bottom of screen. Units are always in feet. Added X,Y mouse tracker to status bar. Added text to lat-lon conversion to indicate that all calculations use NAD 27. Added wait cursors when doing PLSS->UTM calculations. When doing PLSS->UTM calculations, the footing call input fields are blanked out when using PLSS quarter-sections, and PLSS quarter-section fields are erased when doing footing calls in order to prevent confusion over what data was used to calculate the UTM coordinates. Added an erase button in the PLSS->UTM tab to blank out all input fields. Added jpeg, bitmap, and sid image formats to Add Theme file-selection box. Added IDS logo to main screen. Rearranged menus so that they make more sense: eliminated the edit menu and moved delete themes to the themes menu. Version 1.11 3/30/04 Made some changes in the user interface -- now the lat-long converter window sensitizes the minutes and seconds fields based on the conversion mode. Version 1.12 6/3/04 Made a fix to the layout so that the scale bar for the list of themes would always be in the display. Version 1.13 7/9/04 Added MOMrSIDLT.dll to the setup files -- now mrsid images should load. Version 1.15 9/2/04 Added more PLSS search fields. Version 1.16 9/29/04 The PLSS section is no longer selected when PLSS calculations are made. Made an attempt to allow for bends in the section line when calculating the PLSS description from a UTM coordinate. Version 1.17 10/8/04 Fixed error when deleting active themes would delete other themes. Version 1.18 10/15/04 Tried to make PLSS builder for a well point handle bends in PLSS sections better. Graphic circles are now drawn filled in. Sections are no longer selected when locating wells. Version 1.19 10/28/04 Fixed another bug in the footing call calculation algorithm. The footing call should now be the same when generating a UTM coordinate and when it is generated from a UTM coordinate and back again. Version 1.20 3/23/05 Added option to zoom in to well when calculating footing call, legal description, or UTM coordinates. Changed projection to NAD83 from NAD27. Version 1.21 6/27/05 Fixed errors in degrees - minutes - seconds calculation. Longitude is now always assumed to be negative. Identify window can no longer be minimized. Legend Editor should now use the style attribute. Other small fixes. Version 1.22 7/26/05 Added 6 digits of precision to latitude and longitude calculation. Version 1.23 9/27/05 Fixed error in footing call calculation where PLSS borders that were at an angle would cause the distance to be calculated using the closest point anywhere on the border. Now the footing call is calculated by intersecting two lines along the closest PLSS borders, and if they intersect, then the distance of the lines are used for the footing call values. For example, if a well is located in the NW section, then a line is created that goes through the well and follows the direction formed by the north PLSS line taken from each corner. The shortest distance of where this line intersects the PLSS boundary is taken to be the east/west footing call distance. The same is done for the north/south footing call. Verion 2.0.4 7/7/09 New version of interface.
